Esquire Magazine

Imagine walking past a newspaper stand and seeing one of the magazine covers moving and changing shape before your eyes?  Would that not make you stop and buy the magazine? In keeping up with the modern world, Esquire Magazine is set to launch the first electronic cover on its magazine!
Esquire believes that the new cover will end up in museums as a first of its kind. The magazine cover will flash up with the message “The 21st century begins now.” The technology consists of tiny little batteries placed into the magazine covers which are flown in from China. Each battery is put in by hand, and will last for approximately ninety days without a new charge.

Several prototypes were made of the electronic magazine cover, including the first one with a cord attached to a battery pack. This new invention has excited Esquire Magazine and will be the first of its kind. A lot of planning has gone into the project, and it is hoped to be the beginning of many electronic things to come.
