The main war was between Sparky and Aibo. The research was conducted among residents from 38 different nursing homes. Aibo always has an edge over the other, courtesy Sony.

Sparky was reddish brown with white color and had floppy ears and was liked by many residents. He reacted efficiently to the commands and even wagged his tail. Most of the residents felt as if they are petting a real animal. On the other hand people took more time to adjust with Aibo but slowly they become comfortable. Aibo too wagged his tail like Sparky and even blinked his lights. It was an amazing attempt to mix the human and computer interaction. These robotic dogs were developed to reduce loneliness, but those who have developed these dogs have failed to do themselves.
