5 birdflue 300x225 Bird Flu Hits Hard.Part of India is now suffering from the deadly H5N1 strain of bird flu. This virus has been detected in tribal areas of Navapur in Maharashtra. Few months back parts of South East Asia, Africa, Europe and part of Central Asia was swamped across by this deadly disease.

Though the experts were expecting this disease to hit hard on the soil of India, it never happened till the last week. The High Security Animal Disease Laboratory of Bhopal has altered the State Governments and asked them to take appropriate measures.

Out of the dozen samples that were tested, the laboratory found the presence of the deadly virus in 8 of them. Blood samples were obtain from the dead birds and tested at the laboratory. During the last fortnight more than 50,000 chickens have died due to this disease.

The core group of the Bhopal laboratory has examined the samples and has anticipated the presence of the deadly disease. Some samples of the bird flu were also received from Bangkok. The experts tried to compare the local samples with the samples of Bangkok. At the end of the comparison, the experts confirmed
about the bird flu.
