Big Bang

“Five, four, three, two, one… nothing”, joked Dr. Lyndon Evan the LHC (Large Hadron Collider)
project leader as he turned the on switch to get the beam started on the Big Bang Test.  The project which will re-enact the first moments of our universe’s existence took place today and was a great success.

projectThe LHC project is expected to create new particles and hopefully provide scientists with the answers to the unknowns of mass, gravity, invisible “dark matter” and the current state of our universe. The project uses protons which spin around at the same rate as the speed of light. A first beam has already been achieved, and at a later date the particles will be made to smash into each other at energy levels up to seven times higher than any that we have seen before. This will create conditions the same as what they were less than a billionth of a second after the Big Bang which is believed to have created to our universe.
